Let’s Hope He Takes His Wife With Him

A Washington Post story linked on the front page of the Drudge Report today says that a high White House official – one “close to the president” – is a person of interest in the investigation of Trump-Russia ties.

Who do you suppose that might be?

Slate columnist Michelle Goldberg speculates that it could be Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner:

Kushner is already known to have failed to disclose his contacts with Russian officials on his application for top-secret security clearance; he also reportedly urged Trump to fire Comey. Further, last month the New York Times reported that Bannon had told confidents “that he believes Mr. Kushner’s contact with Russians, and his expected testimony before Congress on the subject, will become a major distraction for the White House.”

Kushner is the expediter of death merchandise to the Saudis.  If he goes there would be one less warmonger in the White House.
