The December 26 Parade magazine reports that Louisiana state representative Derrick Shepherd has introduced a bill “which would make it a crime to wear low-riding pants that expose underwear, buttocks or pubic areas.” Rep. Shepherd is obviously unfamiliar with the Law of Unintended Consequences. Among other things, such a law would turn every plumber in Louisiana into a criminal.
