Laurence: one dictionary defines “libertine” as “a person who is unrestrained by morality.” This seems a more suitable name for this institution than does Liberty University.
Do these people really envision Jesus sitting in a trailer outside Las Vegas with a joy-stick in his hand bombing innocent people? Is this how these make-believe Christians envision their “graduates serving the Lord in this area of aviation”? What next? Will this school use Jesus’ words “render unto Caesar” as justification for sending undesirables to friendly foreign countries to be tortured ?
Over the centuries, some churches have sent missionaries to non-Christian nations to proselytize local inhabitants. Though I am an agnostic, I would consider making a financial contribution to a group devoted to Christianizing the Christians!
