It is comical to watch the reaction of some libertarians to Trump’s cabinet appointments. I have never seen such libertarian hand-wringing. It goes without saying that Trump is no libertarian. In fact, I don’t know how he can be classified politically except to say that he is a Trumpite. Trump’s views are all over the map and can change overnight. He has not “betrayed the revolution” or anything to that effect. Did anyone really think that Trump was going to appoint libertarians or libertarian-leaning “good” conservatives to cabinet positions?
