“Let the Wicked Be No More”

Understandably, the idea of Comrade Biden and Commie-le Harris ruling us terrifies those who cherish liberty, decency, fair play or even simple fun (ever hear of anyone other than the dictators enjoying himself in a Marxist dystopia?).

But merely because these liars and their propagandists, a.k.a., the corporate media, have claimed victory doesn’t make it so. How many times has the press erred in announcing a new president?

Meanwhile, as Trump’s team sues various states, as more of the dead are reburied with their bogus ballots, as poll workers continue coming forward with tales of brazen fraud, take heart! God is still in control; however much the Deep State and the Demonrats war against all that’s good and just, He remains on His Throne, and “His kingdom ruleth over all”—including Marxists.

I always start my day reading Scripture; this morning’s passage from Ezra offered tremendous encouragement. The Jewish exiles to Babylon have returned to Judah after “the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia.” A pagan politician with enormous power, yet he bowed to the Almighty as all potentates must!

But that’s not all: Cyrus explains that

“‘The Lord, the God of heaven, … has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. 3 Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. 4 And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.’”

This heathen king is not only freeing captives taken in war, he’s also helping them rebuild the temple their conquerors destroyed!

As the Jews settle in and restore the Lord’s house, Persian bureaucrats in Judah gum up the works, as bureaucrats always do, by snitching to the new king, Darius:

At that time Tattenai, governor of Trans-Euphrates, and Shethar-Bozenai and their associates went to them and asked, “Who authorized you to rebuild this temple and to finish it?” 4 They also asked, “What are the names of those who are constructing this building?” 5 But the eye of their God was watching over the elders of the Jews, and they were not stopped until a report could go to Darius and his written reply be received.

That reply not only repudiated Tattenai the Tattler, it announced that Darius would pay for the work!

Their expenses are to be fully paid out of the royal treasury, from the revenues of Trans-Euphrates, so that the work will not stop. 9 Whatever is needed—young bulls, rams, male lambs for burnt offerings to the God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine and olive oil, as requested by the priests in Jerusalem—must be given them daily without fail, 10 so that they may offer sacrifices pleasing to the God of heaven and pray for the well-being of the king and his sons.

11 Furthermore, I decree that if anyone defies this edict, a beam is to be pulled from their house and they are to be impaled on it. And for this crime their house is to be made a pile of rubble. 12 May God, who has caused his Name to dwell there, overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree or to destroy this temple in Jerusalem.

Not surprisingly, the threat of impalement put the fear of God, so to speak, into Tattenai and his “associates.”

The Deity Who used two unbelieving kings for His glory is sovereign today just as He was then. Why has He allowed evil seemingly to triumph now? Perhaps He’s airing the Demonrats’ filth and malfeasance so that a majority of Americans will join us in rejecting these Marxists. More likely, we can’t begin to understand, let alone predict, what He’s accomplishing through this thieving of an election: after all, “my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Trump won the election, and the Lord knows that; furthermore, this thing is far from over. So don’t lose hope nor succumb to the media’s lies and brainwashing! Indeed, as Graham Dugas reminds us, “The Bible has stern things to say about those who cause the hearts of their brothers to faint in battle. Keep the faith. Pray that the wicked would fall by their own devices. That, as they intended to do, so it would be done to them.”

Amen!
