KPMG Has Not Been Destroyed — Yet

The Bush Administration continues to do to the economy what Hurricane Katrina could not: devastate it. While KPMG was able to plead guilty to a single charge, the Bushies literally were threatening to destroy the firm through indictments and is going to try to imprison a bunch of KPMG executives. Anyone even remotely familiar with accounting knows of the problems caused when the government needlessly eviscerated Arthur Andersen, not to mention the execrable Sarbanes-Oxley monostrosity.
