Is McCain closing the gap? For the first time, I saw upset and worry tonight among Obama’s normally whistling acolytes on MSNBC. Chris Matthews was angry and defensive after the 30-minute yawnamercial. He argued that Obama has done everything white Americans expect of black Americans — gone to school, raised his kids, etc. — and therefore he deserved to be elected. Huh?
