Walter Jones (R-NC), the conservative who gave us Freedom Fries and Freedom Toast at the height of the war hysteria, is now sorry he made the suggestion, which was immediately picked up by the religious haters, the talk-show haters, cable hate, and the rest. He’s even joined Ron Paul in opposing the war, pretty much. I know I shouldn’t be surprised at the booboisie, but conseratives were actuallly ready to bomb Paris because Chirac wouldn’t take orders from Bush. Hans, score another point for you.
