Once again, Neocon War-Love conquers all.
It subordinates all ethics to its perverted norms, and hijacks all available symbols for its violent ends.
The brazen neocons do not hide in shame the the way the bewildered, bumbling Bush does. They march to a different drummer: their heart is not in truth, love, and the American Way — far from it. Very far. Thousands of miles away.
But this is not just crass, malevolent hypocrisy making another encore: this is a signal to the Likud faction of the International War Machine that the neocon-military-security-lobbying-media-finance complex will demand once more that American boys do the fighting, once Netanyahu gives his lobby the green light.
Remember, at the heart of neoconservatism is the dialectic: there is no permanent truth, and thus no demand that they tell tell there truth. There is only power.
Their wars are always disastrous, they are always wrong, and they never, ever apologize.
