I heard on the news today that it might cost $100 million a week to enforce the no fly zone in Libya, but that that was a cost the DOD could absorb. All the current debates about how much this new war will cost and whether we can “afford it” are masking the really issue: This latest war, like the two previous ones, is immoral and unnecessary.
