If This Isn’t Enough to Make You Want to Vote for Trump . . .

. . . then nothing is.  National Review editor Rich Lowry gathered 22 fellow neocon chickenhawks in the current issue, starting with Bill Kristol and Glenn Beck (plus gay marriage champion David Boaz of the Koch/Cato Institute), to denounce Trump.  Wow. 22  old-fart neocons.  What a tidal wave of opposition!  What inspirational leadership!  Their greatest fear, of course, is that Trump will seek to use his legendary bargaining/deal-making skills to pursue peace rather than perpetual war in the Middle East.  This would be a great benefit to the American public, but is contrary to the Official Doctrine of the Likud Party and its American neocon stooges and puppets at National Review, the magazine founded by CIA employee William F. Buckley, Jr. and which has been the preeminent war propaganda organ ever since.  Talk about unpatriotic conservatives!

One of the funniest lines is Lowry’s criticism of Trump for being divorced.  It brings to mind how National Review once put a cartoon drawing of thrice-divorced Rush Limbaugh on its cover, posing like Napoleon and labeled as “The Leader of the [Conservative] Opposition.” Lowry’s hero Limbaugh was also detained by customs agents at Palm Beach International Airport several years ago because he had a mislabeled bottle of Viagra pills in his suitcase when returning from a “sex tourism” trip to the Dominican Republic where prostitution is de facto legal.
