As of yesterday the murder rate in Baltimore was twice the rate of notoriously bloody Chicago. That is all about to change for the good, however, since during the night the Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson statues were removed from the city.  (Incredibly, even though this took place at night, in the city limits, no murders occurred at those spots during the removal).  Anyone who knows anything understands that the reason black people in Baltimore kill each other by the hundreds every year is the existence of those statues.  City residents can rest in peace tonight.
