On April 19, 2019, I made a long list of some of those who wanted Trump impeached. By May 10, 2019, I argued that the Democrats would impeach Trump. I didn’t distinguish between an impeachment inquiry and an actual vote on impeachment articles. Now, September 25, 2019, a milestone has been reached in this process. Democrats in the House have voted, 231-0 in their House conference, to launch an official impeachment inquiry.

In an attempt to shield vulnerable Democrats, Pelosi didn’t employ a formal House vote. She had already committed to the inquiry on September 24 at a press conference. The Republicans were shut out from registering a vote. This led the Minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, to put forward for a vote a resolution that disapproved of Pelosi’s end run. The Democrats then issued a motion to table the McCarthy resolution. This passed the House on a vote of 231-193, on strict Democrat-Republican lines. This tabling amounts to a House vote to initiate the impeachment inquiry on Trump.

At this moment, the Predictit market has impeachment at 62 cents and no impeachment at 38 cents. Impeachment certainty would be $1.00, and no impeachment certainty would be $0.00.

Articles of impeachment will eventually be vomited out of the Democrats’ stomach. They will be made to look orderly, impressive and legal. The charges will be many and specific. The anti-Trump contingent will befoul the country. The timing will be chosen so as to damage the Trump campaign as much as possible. There will be plenty of lying scum media who will dutifully report on the document. The talking heads will go nuts over the charges and flood the country with endless useless words that purport to be analysis. Nonetheless, it will all be vomit: Half-digested, unrecognizable as food, acidic, a slurry of slurs, an unpalatable mixture of half-baked charges, hot air and foul gas. This is what the anti-Trump forces have been spewing at us for 3 years, like Linda Blair did in The Exorcist (1973). So we can expect them to continue through November 2020 and beyond.

Democrats have a severe upset stomach and they intend to continue to relieve themselves upon all of us. Their biological upset has emotional sources: Frustration at loss of power, anger, a massive and childish temper tantrum, malice and hatred. These are neutralizing and negating those cooler political heads among Democrat professionals who know that impeachment is a losing issue.
