If Surgeons Can’t Do It, How Will the Masked Morons?

From Sal Fariello come two articles on the physical harm from wearing masks. One features his findings on this topic; the second, “Research does not support face mask orders,” comprehensively discusses the many drawbacks of and studies against wearing masks. I particularly appreciated this paragraph:

Even in surgical settings, there is no evidence that masks protect the patient. This study by Tunevall states, “It has never been shown that wearing surgical face masks decreases postoperative wound infections. On the contrary, a 50% decrease had been reported after omitting face masks.” Brosseau concludes, “Despite these findings, it has been difficult for surgeons to give up a long-standing practice.”

Yo, Masked Morons: take a lesson and give up your security-blanket before it becomes a long-standing practice.
