Though I only met the charismatic and colorful mayor of DC once, I knew he was the best sort of politician. Barry cared about money rather than grandiose, power-mad ideologies, and he was entertaining in the Edwin Edwards or James Michael Curley style. That’s about the most you can hope for in this world (aside from Ron Paul). But now, as a city councilman, Barry’s calling for DC residents to be able to grow their own pot. Pretty good!
