House Refuses to Curb Obama’s Middle East War

Yesterday the House voted down H. Con. Res. 55, a parliamentary move to force the president to either get authorization for ongoing military operations in Iraq and Syria or bring the troops home. Congress is completely uninterested in the debate. But, as Defense Secretary Ashton Carter told the House Armed Services Committee also yesterday, they cannot find Iraqi or Syrian recruits to train. The strategy has failed, says Ron Paul in today’s Liberty Report, and changing tactics will do nothing to change that fact:
