A Historic First for West Point

Two male Army captains who met at West Point recently returned there to be “married.” The ceremony for the two Apache helicopter pilots stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, was held at West Point’s Cadet Chapel on Jan. 13. They “wore their uniforms during the ceremony, and left the chapel under an arch made up of sabers held aloft by several of their guests.”

I personally don’t care if these two soldiers call themselves married, and I care even less what they do in their bedroom. My point in posting this is to point out the utter stupidity and hypocrisy of many conservative Christians (and I am a conservative Christian) who consider the U.S. military to be a great institution instead of a sewer of iniquity.
