Heroism in Japan

We are hearing about some genuine heroes in Japan, namely, the persons who are bravely accepting radiation while trying to control the nuclear piles. Sacrifice, even to the point of death, is inside human beings too, and a noble characteristic it is. Altruism, a selfless concern for the welfare of others, is inside us too. One can go to one’s death knowing that one has acted honorably or done some good for others.
