Karen’s post about The Disintegrating, Tax-Feeding State wanting to tax certain services reminded me of the tax reform idea that will not die: the FairTax. Under the FairTax all services would be taxed, but there would, in theory, be no income tax. But does anyone really think that we would not end up with both the income tax and the FairTax?
