Field Poll:
“On the Republican side, John McCain has opened up an eight-point lead over Mitt Romney. McCain is now supported by 32% of likely voters in the GOP primary, compared to 24% for Romney. Another 13% are supporting Mike Huckabee, 10% are backing Ron Paul, 6% are for other candidates, and 15% are undecided.”
This is Ron Paul’s best chance for a big breakthrough on Tuesday. McCain’s support is very soft and could quickly shrink if he continues to open his big and unpredictable mouth. 48 hours is an eternity in today’s politics.
