In 1978, Barry Goldwater, Jr., flew to Texas to attend Ron Paul’s birthday bbq, and to endorse him for Congress. A great day was highlighted by their swimming match, which Barry–a champion swimmer in college–won (barely). Today, Barry has endorsed Ron for president, noting, “Ron Paul stands above all of the other candidates in his commitment to liberty and to America.” I wonder if there will be a rematch in the White House pool. (Thanks to Brent Bartsch.)
