Thanks to Moggie for reminding me of the weirdest moment of the Glenn Beck interview last night: when Beck threatened to “french kiss” Ron over his anti-income tax position. Of course, Beck then demanded to know how vital services (bombing the Ay-rabs, etc.) could then be funded. Ron noted that without the income tax, the feds could still spend as much as they did in 1997. Far too much, in other words. Burt Blumert adds that right-wingers have never been able to deal with libertarian arguments, which is why Beck collapsed last night.
