General Robert E. Lee has long been one of my heroes; I have yet to read anything of him that detracts from my admiration. He understood and fought for liberty—honorably, tirelessly, and at tremendous cost. His unflinching integrity was surpassed only by his profound humility. Best of all, he was a devout Christian.
