The following exchange took place between G. Gordon Liddy and a caller to his radio show today (July 16) at approximately 2:30 P.M.:
Caller: “Gordon, does a state have a legal right to secede?”
G. Gordon Liddy: “The founding fathers certainly believed so. But Abraham Lincoln, through force of arms, established the alternative view that holds today. But that’s not what the founding fathers believed in.”
