From a Young Soldier

First of all, I would like to thank you for all that you do and have done.  I am huge fan of yours and am currently enjoying your new book, “Against the State.”  I truly enjoy your writing and commentary.  I try to listen to you every chance I can and recently listened to your interview with Tom Woods.

I am a currently serving Army Reservist and spent time on Active Duty fighting unjust wars.  I have been conflicted, as my libertarian anarcho-capitalist beliefs have grown, concerning my continued service in the military (a threat that we have been warned about continually).  Your interview and book have changed my mind and attitude concerning my military service and I know for the better.

I recently attended a school, Civil Affairs, which is an oxymoronic term that is not a function of any rational government, and was released due to a moronic paperwork issue.  I am so relieved at being able to go home to my family (and not learn how to oppress people further) and your thoughts have helped me understand my internal conflict.  Your thoughts have helped me make a decision that will better my life and those that are most important to me.

I hope this email makes sense as I am having trouble thanking you enough.  I cannot thank you for what you do and have done for me.  I just want you to know that your thoughts and words have made a huge difference in my life and I cannot thank you enough.  Please keep up the fight for truth, honor, peace, and justice!
