The other night, for the first time in years, I saw part of a FOX cops show, where the cameras follow police on their rounds. In this case, the police were arresting an older man dying of cancer (when he told them that he had a morphine pump, they pulled up his shirt to show it to the camera). Morphine in the amount allowed by the feds was no longer doing the job, and so he was trying to buy cocaine. He wept as the police handcuffed him, and put him the back of the police car.
