FDA-Approved Opdivo and Yervoy Linked to Fatal Heart Damage

I know this isn’t related to the election, but life should go on after it (unless Hillary starts a nuclear war with Russia) but maybe not for long if you or someone you know is put on one or a combination of these drugs.

While the heart damage doesn’t appear to be common (at least according to the drugs’ maker Bristol-Myers Squibb–objective source there!), up to this point doctors and patients were not informed of the risks.

Most patients assume that FDA approval means that rigorous testing has eliminated dangerous drugs from use.  As the Vioxx scandal showed, that’s not quite the case.
