Faces of Death

More than 58,000 Americans died in vain in Vietnam.  The “Gulf of Tonkin Incident,” which was the excuse for escalating the war, was a fake.  So was the “domino theory” that was used to justify the entire war.  No one in America was ever threatened in any way by the North Vietnamese Army.  They won the war and waddya know: We aren’t all speaking Vietnamese.

If you have children or grandchildren who may be seduced/conned/bribed into joining the military, have them take a look at the young faces of the Vietnam War dead on The Virtual Wall.   Not to mention the more than 60,000 Vietnam War veterans who committed suicide; the tens of thousands maimed for life physically and mentally; and the hundreds of thousands of dead and maimed Vietnamese — all for no benefit at all to any Americans but military contractors and the politicians they have purchased.
