Ron Paul and his son Rand campaigned together yesterday in Kentucky for the first time. Rand is leading against his primary opponents, and the Republican nomination this year will be tantamount to election to the federal senate. Of course, though this is their first public appearance in Kentucky, as the Courier-Journal notes, Ron has been Rand’s key asset through email fundraising. And Rand has always been a key part of his dad’s campaigns.
