There’s an AP article in the news today about Trump’s appointment of former Texas Governor Rick Perry as Secretary of Energy.  It says — are you ready for a scandal? — that he “has close ties to the Texas oil industry.” Imagine.  A Texas governor with “ties” to the Texas oil industry.  Whoever heard of such a thing?
