Dressing for Dissent

Steve Smith responded to “Resist, Resist” by suggesting that “one of the best ways to spread the spirit of resistance is to wear a sign every time one ventures out. And by sign I mean a t-shirt!”

Now Steve’s idea is a tad self-interested: he’s designed two sartorial billboards. One reads, “Politicians are non-essential”; the other “LOCK DOWN the TYRANTS.”

Steve has more jerseys in the works, or you can design your own. He writes:

POD sites like Redbubble and others [allow] you to put virtually any message you like on a shirt. Professional design skills are not required to create a shirt with a simple but bold text message. For instance, I created these two for wearing to the grocery store or gas station or out and about in the neighborhood. I’m sure others can think of many other pointed messages for showing a little public dissent during these insane times. … this might be a way for anyone with a creative bone to try to generate a bit of side income while under house arrest, er, lockdown.

Plus, they’re a nice change from pajamas.
