There are the typical MSM mischaracterizations, of course: ‘passion of a zealot,’ ‘prickly, headstrong and deeply opinionated,’ ‘A charmer he is not,’ ‘doesn’t stand a chance at being elected,’ ‘outsize personality,’ blah blah.. “In trying the shopping mall analogy to compare the US and German systems, however, the correspondent, Gabor Steingart, has completely missed the true meaning of the Ron Paul Revolution. Obviously he has spent too much time in Imperial DC as part of the Der Spiegel bureau.”

Writes Robert Grözinger: “After the TV GOP debate in May, all Der Spiegel had to say about Ron Paul was this: ‘He plays the role of court jester’. Now take a look at their article about the Iowa straw poll. “After the introduction, the first five (!) paragraphs are devoted to Paul and his followers. And he is mentioned again (twice) near the end (on the second page). None (!) of the other candidates get that exposure, not even Romney.
