Cool Liberals in Michigan

Writes student David Frank:

The Hillsdale College [Classical] Liberals are looking for speakers for the upcoming fall/winter. We are open to any topic of speech, especially current events related lectures pertaining to the drug war, the War in Iraq, the election, etc. Finances, however, are quite tight for us at the moment, so speakers would likely have to devote their efforts pro bono.

We, the Hillsdale Liberals, consider it our mission to transform the culture of the United States, beginning with that of Hillsdale College, into a society of individuals dedicated to a belief in liberty. As a non-partisan organization, we advocate the end of legalized plunder, the reduction of government to its proper role as a defender of its citizens’ lives, liberty, and property, and the restoration of the individual’s natural rights and responsibilities. We seek to educate and learn from our peers, that we may all better understand the meaning of freedom in the philosophical, social, economic, and political spheres, and thus, through the dissemination of classical liberal beliefs, that we may see the rebirth of free enterprise, limited government, and personal responsibility.

A great group of kids. If you have any ideas for them, write David.
