President Obama, who at one time taught a class on the U.S. Constitution at the University of Chicago Law School, doesn’t seem to know (or perhaps his speech writers didn’t seem to know—but he should have known enough to correct their error) that the phrase “that all men are created equal” is from the Declaration of Independence—not the U.S. Constitution.
