It seems that new graduates in the high-tech industries are going to work for Microsoft and Google, not military contractors. The armed forces want to spend heavily in the next decade for new weapons of aggression, but the graduates are looking elsewhere. I guess it is an example of giving a war and no one showing up. It also strikes a blow against the Paul Krugmanites who insist that capitalism needs wars to survive.
