Bush Commits Tax Fraud

I caught part of the news briefing by the Bush administration’s “tax reform commission.” Senator Connie Mack was the spokesman and announced that the commission used “static analysis.” That means there was in fact no analysis at all of the effects of their tax proposals on the economy. This did not stop him from promising over and over again that the proposals, if implemented, would be “revenue neutral” and would not alter the allocation of the tax burden one iota.
