Brand all the cattle living within the jurisdiction of the U.S.A. Brand every last steer. Brand every bull, cow and heifer, born here, or naturalized here, documented or undocumented, green card or no, legal or illegal, citizen or not. Brand them all, young or old, healthy or sick, ones with pre-existing conditions or not.
Make every last one of them, with the exception of those doing the branding, “INSURED”. Force all the branded ones into the USA plan. Make them all pay into it. Force doctors to be part of it. Force hospitals to be part of it. After all, isn’t America the land of the free? Do we not, each and every one of us, want to be free from illness and disease? Do we not all want access to health care, and isn’t that what freedom means? How can anyone be free and have to manage their own health care? Aren’t we truly free when we’re forced into buying “insurance”? Aren’t medical providers truly free when all are forced to charge the government-mandated prices? Aren’t we truly free when all of us are equal and must wait the same number of months to be treated?
Never mind that you get no insurance policy. Never mind that the services cannot be funded by payments collected. Never mind that the government can change all the terms at will. Never mind that the programs are destined for ruin. Never mind that the government will determine treatment quality, prices and waiting times. The point is to be branded, for then you know you are covered. You are safe against any medical contingency. You are free, and you have joined hands with all your fellow brandees in a common program. You are not only free, you are equal.
Don’t all the cattle deserve to be branded, without exception? Why not? Health care is your right as cattle, as much as the feed being doled out to you. Food stamps are your right. Take, take, take. But you must be branded. There’s no opt-out. Freedom doesn’t allow any opting out. To be free of care, you must be branded and controlled. Freedom is Slavery. What can freedom possibly be if not slavery?
Social justice knows no artificial borders. Shouldn’t anyone be welcome in America from anywhere in the world? And shouldn’t they also be branded? In fact, they must be branded. How else can they be made free? How else can they get the health care they deserve?
