Bob Barr apparently says he doesn’t want to be a “spoiler.” If true, that is terrible news, since the LP has at least a chance of hurting McCain. (By the way, the very concept of “spoiler” is establishment baloney. It implies that no third choice should ever affect one of the two major parties.) In any event, here is some fascinating analysis that indicates that Barr may play a heroic role in Georgia, at least, no matter what he intends.
