Blackface and the Hypocrisy of the Elite Left

Interesting how Northam’s troubles quickly became known as the “blackface” scandal (instead of the Klan-outfit scandal) in the media right after Northam decided to neither resign nor indicate whether he was the individual in blackface or the one with the Klan hood on.  (Yes, he later claimed “neither,” but why didn’t he object to the picture being put into his profile decades ago if he wasn’t in the picture?  The first thing every person checks when receiving a yearbook is how his or her own portrait/profile came out.)

Update: Temporarily forgot about Northam applying shoe polish to his face as part of a Michael Jackson costume for a dance contest in 1984.  But you can still see why the media would want to protect a Democrat (one of the “good guys” as they see it) by emphasizing blackface rather than a Klan robe.
