I Do Believe Some Veterans Are Heroes

The ones that now renounce their military “service”:

Like this one:

Mr. Vance; I throughly enjoy reading your views on military and police service. It is because of yours and others of the Non-Aggression Principle/ libertarian view that I am now a believer. I spent 23 years in military service, Army, Army Reserve, and the National Guard of 2 states. I joined for money and stayed for the money and benefits. I guess that makes me a mercenary (like all the rest refuse to admit). I fortunately never was directly responsible for deaths or destruction but no imagination is required to understand the jobs I did contributed to the government’s murderous empire building spree. There are only 2 choices; a person is against all that the military and police stand for or they are for constant wars of occupation, aggression, and immoral interference in the lives of people who have done nothing except resist tyranny. I have been out of the service for more than 10 years and proudly say I do not support our military, its goals or agenda. America is arguably the best governmentally controlled territory on the planet. It has the most dishonest, corrupt, criminal enterprise for a government since the Civil War was lost by Americans and won by big government/business cronyism. As you have stated, “You can not have a Police state without police.” Soldiers are police too, armed enforcers following orders of oppression for money. So I say, Mr. Vance, thank you for YOUR SERVICE by opening the eyes of many. You may feel your efforts are wasted but every crack in the wall weakens it. In the end the truth may set us and the rest of the world free.
