Read the post about Tim Thomas refusing to visit the white house. It also occurred to me, why would a bunch of millionaires want to go and visit a president who is constantly attacking and berating millionaires?

It reminds me of a statement I read once by the very wealthy former NBA star Charles Barkley (one of my favorite athletes, by the way). He said that before the election of George the 1st he told his grandmother he was going to vote for Bush. She replied, “Oh Charles, you don’t want to vote for Bush; he is only for the rich people.”
