What was exactly forecasted: A touchscreen interface. What was better than forecasted: What eventually became the iPad is much smaller (and not at all cumbersome like the device in this video). What has not occurred yet that was forecasted: An interactive operating system interface with a talking entity. (Although Skype obviously occurred and is available on handheld devices.)
