Every day, all day long, during the presidential campaign AOL News reported over and over and over again that whatever Donald Trump said supposedly “sparked outrage.”  If Trump had said, “You know, I have come to the conclusion that 2 + 2 =4,” there would have been an immediate headline about how Trump’s views on math have “sparked outrage.”  No specific individuals who were supposedly outraged were ever mentioned or quoted.
