Unlike my old friend David Franke, I cannot feel nostalgic for the dying Human Events. I first subscribed to it in the 1960s, but for one year only, because  I found it so disappointing. In the 1940s and 1950s, until it was sold, it was Old Right and non-interventionist, as David notes.
