Back in 2009, I wrote a letter to a Christian young man regarding joining the military. He never joined. Thank God.
A former Marine (and son of a Marine) recently sent me a copy of an e-mail he sent to his sister upon hearing that his nephew recently joined the Army. He has given me permission to post it.
Look the American army is the hatchet men for the most evil governmental force ever known to mankind. Let me ask you this, what is he “fighting” for? Making the world safe for sexual depravity, pornography, drugs, debt, lawlessness, hypocrisy, parasitism, materialism, usury, abortion on demand, murder on call, gambling, lust, greed without bounds, privilege without merit, demands without duty, stealing from the workers to give to the shirkers, a government and corporate aristocracy that exploits the very people it claims to serve and feels free to kill or destroy any and all who stand in their way. [Sister], [nephew] is not going to be fighting these things, he’s going to serve these things and further their cause. Why would I wish him luck in such an endeavor?
Every young man thinking about joining the military needs to read this, and his parents.
