We’re not supposed to believe in conspiracies—public and private interests planning in secret to advance their own interests at our expense through criminal State power—but there is one exception: the conspiracies the State charges against those it seeks to destroy. No surprise that the USG is torturing Bradley Manning while offering him a plea bargain, if he will just recite the words the prosecutors want him to recite, and therefore give them a conspiracy club to use against Julian Assange, the man who must forever be caged in a federal Hellhole for embarrassing the regime.
