CREPY-EN-VALOIS, France — Workers at a French car accessories plant north of Paris threatened Friday to blow up their factory unless they were given better layoff compensation.

Now, if the owners blew up their own factory, there would be worldwide violent outrage, plus a few tense moments with the company’s shareholders. But when malicious felony trespassers blow it up in an act of political terrorism, they’re heroes.)
