The Amazon tax is meeting some resistance in the state of New York as Amazon.com is suing to try to stop it. The state is claiming that because Amazon partners with retailers in NY, Amazon needs to collect taxes. Amazon.com’s lawsuit argues that New York State is overstating the retailer’s presence here.
