. . . who play basketball for tens of millions of dollars a year claim that NFL owners are a “bunch of old white men with a slave mentality” toward their players.  The median annual salary of top 50 NFL players is over $11 million plus fringe benefits and, of course, no one is forced to take this money in return for playing ball six months a year.  Nor is anyone keeping Lebron James, the chief loudmouth among this group, from making a bid to become an NFL owner so that he can instruct his team to kneel and give the American flag — and by implication, the majority of the America public — a big middle finger during the national anthem.  I wonder how that would affect attendance at his games?
