Against Regulation of Cellphone Carriers

(February 12, 2013) On the CKOM Afternoon News, I was invited to talk about cellphone carrier contracts, which may become another case of government intervention in Canada. The host, David Kirton, mentions that the contracts with cellphone carriers are forced and that many people are complaining about the fees. Consequently, the CRTC is holding hearings from customers and cell phone companies. I argue in favor of free enterprise and competition by insisting that the CRTC should be disbanded.
